List of Lesser Deities of Faerûn. Auril the Frostmaiden is the deity of cold and winter. Auril traps those who offend her in snowstorms, drive them insane with visions of warmth and home before freezing them to death. Azuth the Lord of spells is the deity of wizards, mages and spellcasters. Azuth’s church advances and preserves the magical arts.

Many view them as overly traditional and focused on abstract arcane debates. Deneir the Lord of all Glyphs and Images, is the deity of glyphs, images, literature, scribes and cartography. Deneir’s church is dedicated to gathering and recording information, so nothing written is ever lost. Eldath the Goddess of Singing Waters, is the deity of peace, quiet places, springs, pools and waterfalls. Eldath is the guardian of peaceful places. Her presence is felt wherever there is calm. Lliira our Lady of Joy, is the deity of joy, happiness, dance, festivals, freedom and liberty.

Lliira is the perpetually moving maiden, showing that most slights are not worth worrying about and joyful movement should be placed above all concerns. Loviatar the Maiden of Pain, is the deity of pain, hurt, agony, torment, suffering and torture. Loviatar is the patron of torturers and sadists. Her clerics work tirelessly to cause both personal and widespread suffering. Malar the Beastlord, is the deity of bloodlust, evil lycanthropes, hunters, stalking and marauding beasts. Malar’s clerics are widely loathed as dangerous threats. Hunters reluctantly pay homage to Malar, even as they fear his cruelty.

Mask the Master of all Thieves, is the deity of shadows, thievery and thieves. Mask’s church are organized rogue guilds for hire. They are feared not for cruelty, but for thievery and shadow stalking. Milil the Lord of Song, is the deity of poetry, song and eloquence.

Milil’s clerics, known as Sorlyn, roam Faerûn with adventurers to compose ballads of heroic deeds. Shaundakul the Rider of the Winds, is the deity of travel, exploration, portals, miners and caravans. Shaundakul was reduced to demigod when Myth Drannor fell. Since the Time of Troubles, he has risen back to lesser deity. Talona the Lady of Poison, Mistress of Disease, is the deity of disease and poison. Talona’s clerics seek new diseases to unleash, spread rumors to augment Talona’s reputation and infect wealthy folk to seize their properties.

Torm the True, is the deity of duty, loyalty and obedience. He is patron of paladins and enemy of evil and corruption. Torm adopts a humble position, that he exists to serve the common good and the rule of law as established by honorable mortal rulers. Waukeen the Merchant’s Friend, is the deity of trade, money and wealth. Waukeen rules over deals done above and below the table, legitimate as well as black market commerce.
