List of Intermediate Deities of Faerûn. Beshaba the Maid of Misfortune. Is the deity of misfortune, bad luck, accidents, and random mischief. Beshaba is given to random behavior, and extreme jealousy toward her sister, Tymora, demanding equal reverence. The thought of Beshaba actually appearing is enough to make most folk tremble. Gond the Wonderbringer. Is the deity of artifice, craft, construction, and smithwork.
Venerated by humans and gnomes alike, Gond transforms raw ideas into concrete reality. He cares only for the act of creation, paying little heed to the consequences his inventions unleash upon the world. Helm the Watcher. Is the deity of guardians, protectors, and protection. Often seen as cold and emotionless, Helm is the ultimate guardian. The ever-watchful sentry whose unwavering commitment to duty allows nothing to compromise his charge. Il-mater the Crying God. Is the deity of endurance, suffering, martyrdom, and perseverance. Ilmater shoulders the burdens and tears of a long-suffering world with quiet compassion. He has a large and faithful following, among the suffering and poor in a cruel world.
Lolth the Queen of Spiders. Is the deity of drow, spiders, chaos, evil, darkness, and assassins. Lolth is the subject of terrifying legend among most surface dwellers, and seen as synonymous with the greatly feared drow of the Underdark, embodying the absolute evil of the drow race. Mielikki, Our Lady of the Forest. Is the deity of autumn, dryads, forest creatures, forests, and rangers. Mielikki’s clergy and rangers seek a balance between settlement and preserving nature, encouraging city folk to view woodlands as beautiful refuges, not deadly fearful places.
Selûne, Our Lady of Silver. Is the deity of the moon, stars, navigation, and non-evil lycanthropes. Selûne represents the moon’s mysterious force that influences tides, lycanthropes, and pulls at the edges of sanity. Selûne’s worshipers are remarkably diverse, from seafarers and astrologers to non-evil lycanthropes. Tymora, Our Lady Luck. Is the deity of good fortune, skill, victory, and adventurers. Tymora is the undisputed patron deity of choice, for Faerûn’s adventurers seeking prolonged survival and spectacular finds. Her favor can mean the difference between glorious victory and catastrophic defeat.
Umberlee, the Bitch Queen. Is the deity of oceans, currents, waves, and sea winds. Malicious, mean, and thoroughly evil. Umberlee is the terror of coastal dwellers and sailors across realms. She takes great pleasure in watching others die by drowning, or in the jaws of sea predators.
