The Five Forms of Auril, the Frost Maiden, Goddess of Winter’s Fury in Dungeons & Dragons. Her first form, the Cold Crone, stands seven feet tall, with Owl’s head crowned by Ram’s horns, wearing pristine white cloak. Her arms end in sharp black talons, wolf fur covering her form. Her cloak transforming into magnificent owl wings at will. Her second form, the Brittle Maiden, towers at 10 feet. Her form crackling with movement as ice blades grow and break from her body.

Also known as Lady Ice Kiss, she crafts weapons of supernatural ice while commanding ice mephits born from her own form. Her third form, the Winter’s Womb, manifests as a hovering diamond of ice. An aura of deadly cold and magical blizzard rages around it. As the Frost Maiden, she appears as a beautiful woman, wearing furred robes and wielding her legendary battle axe, the Ice Maiden’s Caress. Finally, the Ice Dawn appears as a blinding apparition of icy hauteur, wearing an armor of light blue ice.

Silent and majestic, she glides through the air, leaving a trail of absolute frost, freezing solid everything in her wake. These are the five known forms of Auril, the Frost Maiden. The cold and cruel deity ruling the far north of the Forgotten Realms.
